So I'm not doing a very good job at this anymore... maybe there was a reason I quit xanga!

This week has been very eye-opening. I didn't have classes on Thursday or Friday (thank you snow!!) so I had a lot of time to sit around and do nothing. What did I do with that time you ask? I applied to transfer to Arkansas for next fall. Now don't get excited, applying doesn't mean it will happen... but I am considering it. I miss my family, my church, and my friends (even though most of them aren't there anymore) so much. Why should I be miserable here when I know that I'd be happier there? We'll see. I am going to stay at MSU next semester and maybe the outlook of it being my last semester in Missouri will make me appreciate it more. Maybe it will change my mind. Maybe I will make a home here and never want to leave... Like I said, we'll see.

As for now, I am going to pray about it and go to bed.

so this week is pretty much going to kill me.... today I had an Economics test and Wednesday I have tests in Psychology and Biology.... shoot me now!

the weekend was good though - the Razorbacks are ranked 5th now =D woot woot

I can't wait for Thanksgiving break! only 7 more days now... I cannot wait to spend more time with my family, more time with Kailey, more time with Leslie (who I have not seen since August 4th), more time with Sarah and Kristen, and especially more time with my niece and nephews. I got to see Kane, my oldest nephew, quite a bit this weekend because he was staying at my house and went to the game with us, but my niece and youngest nephew were in Little Rock with my sister-in-law. I miss them a lot, especially my niece Eleanor who is 5. I have always been that "cool aunt" because I used to see them a lot, but since I moved away and my sister moved back to Bentonville, I feel as though I am being somewhat replaced even though I get reassured when every time I leave Eleanor she cries and doesn't want me to go. I miss her. A lot.

Arkansas Razorbacks  31

Tennessee Volunteers  14

GO HOGS GO!

ESPN Gameday is in Fayetteville for the first time today - pretty exciting. People have been camped out since Monday to be on the show. The theme for the game is "Code Red" and every Arkansas fan at the game is supposed to wear red. Some guys I know from high school that go to the UofA, are painting themselves all black and painting H-O-G-S on their fronts and E-S-P-N on their backs. Look for them if you watch the game, they always make tv.

Anyway, Arkansas is # 11 in the nation and Tennessee is # 13 so this should be an amazing game. Watch it. Become a fan. WOOO PIG SOOIE!

*Update: Corso and Kirk picked the Hogs over Tennessee =D

.......time to get in the tailgating action =D

Hit that line, hit that line
Keep on going
Move that ball right down the field
Give a cheer, RAH RAH
Never fear, RAH RAH
Arkansas will never yield
On your toes Razorbacks to the finish
Carry on with all your might
For it's A-A-A-R-K-A-N-S-A-S for Arkansas
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

"For the lack of better words to say
All I said was goodnight
Once again in self defense
I won't sleep a wink
To prevent dreaming of you"

Speech went better than expected today, maybe I can hold out an for an A in COM after all.

By the way, I'm still confused by a lot of things. It's like God is screaming at me to go in one direction and I just keep walking the opposite way. I'm sick of human nature.

I get to go home tomorrow, that's ridiculously exciting. The Hogs play Tennessee on Saturday night and it's on ESPN but who needs tv when I'll be there!!!

Right now I'm going to do laundry and talk with Monica, a new best friend of mine. I absolutely love this girl. Missouri is starting not to suck as bad it originally seemed it was going to. Friends like Lisa, Mon, Jessica, Adam, Seaman, Dave, Terah, and obviously Cole are making the past few weeks bearable. I liked what Monica said yesterday, she's stuck between missing home and loving school. I feel the same way (leaning more towards missing home though...) Maybe eventually that will change, but I think I need to get some things figured out before it does.

p.s. I cannot wait for Thanksgiving. Only 14 days now (12 until break!!) I can do it.
